Views to Customers

Section 6 of 7

Views → Customers

Now let's turn those views into paying customers.

Getting views is just the first step. The real goal is converting those viewers into people who actually visit your website and become your customer or download and use your app.

The conversion process

People don't just see one video and immediately download your app. It's a journey: Video → Profile → Bio → Landing Page → Download → Active User. Each step needs to be optimized.

Today's Mission

- Add clear, relevant CTAs to your video captions and comments (then pin it)

- Update your bio with a direct link to your app or landing page if you can, if not just type the url in the bio

- Reply to comments with helpful information or funny things. the more the comments like you, the more people click on your profile

What works for conversions

Create content around problems your app solves

Instead of just promoting your app, make content that helps people with problems your app can fix. Then mention your app as the solution. This is a very thing line though, its very easy to come across as an AD, which is NOT WHAT YOU WANT. Be genuine and helpful for free, not always promoting your business. If you are helpful enough people will naturally want to check out your business anyways.

Show, don't just tell

Show your app in action. Screen recordings, before/after results, or you actually using the app works better than just talking about it. In the background of videos show someone using your app without even mentioning it. This is a good way to get more people talking about your app/business without over selling.

Directly mention what your business does in the caption of the video and in your bio.

If your ICP comes across your page you want them to go to your website or download your app.

Reply to comments strategically

When people ask questions in comments, give helpful answers and naturally mention your app when relevant. Comments boost your reach too.

⚠️ Conversion mistakes to avoid

  • • Making obvious sales pitches (feels like an ad)
  • • Using generic CTAs like "download my app: (insert name of app)" - WHY???
  • • Expecting immediate conversions (build trust first)
  • • Ignoring comments (engagement = more reach), reply to comments! especially early on when you have a small audience and cold account.
